Fatblog: 15st 7lbs
Wow, so it’s been a while since I fatblogged but I haven’t been idle in the last few weeks! Check out what the scales told me this morning! Helped by an horrendous week at work last week and the beginnings of a cold over the weekend which always ruins my appetite. Exactly half a stone since my last fatblog which was six weeks ago, just over a pound a week. That’s exactly the kind of steady progress I want to make to avoid having excess flesh hanging about at the end of the process. It’s also worth noting that as of now, I am the lightest I have been for many, many years, probably since the mid-2000’s.
Today I will be handing back my 40″ waist uniform trousers at work and using my 38″ exclusively, and hopefully my medium tops will have arrived and I can give back my larges! Really, really happy about this, and couldn’t be more excited about the future. In early June I’m going down to Brighton to visit friends and my goal by then is to be hanging around somewhere near the 15st mark, which I think is achievable.
The important thing about all this is that I’m happy doing it. Yes I’ve cut out lots of stuff that I like that I used to eat all the time, but that was the stuff that was making me fat. I’m in a routine now that I enjoy, I get exercise (plenty of it) at work, I treat myself every now and again and I’m still losing weight at a steady pace. The me of four years ago, who weighs the thick end of 18st and hates himself for it, would be amazed. To be honest, the me of now is a bit amazed too. I know it’s not going to last forever and that at some point it will become harder to maintain this kind of weight loss, but I’ll deal with that problem when I get to it. For now, all my clothes look big on me, I get up every morning and see my stomach flattening out and my face getting more shape, and I am as happy as a pig in shit.
